Former President Donald Trump went after leftist military General Mark Milley as he had some strong words for him following past remarks against the former president.

In a speech at Mar-a-Lago, Trump impersonated and mocked the general and then called him a “F***ing idiot”. Trump has also called for the general to be tried for treason in the past.
Following the Afghanistan debacle at the end of the summer, Trump went after both Biden and General Milley for the failed withdrawal which resulted in the stranding of many Americans in Afghanistan. In addition to that, some strategical military equipment was left in the region which has been recovered by the Taliban.
Trump said, “You think it’s cheaper to leave it there so they can have it than it is to fill it up with a half tank of gas and fly it into Pakistan or fly it back to our country?”
Trump also mentioned if he was in office while the withdrawal was happening he would have not left any equipment there, “I said, the moment we get out, I want every nut, every bolt, every screw… we’re taking everything, we’re taking down the tents.”
The failed Afghanistan withdrawal has stained the Biden administration as both sides criticized his withdrawal and the stranding of Americans. Milley was a key figure in the foreign policy gaffe and Trump has since made his opinion of the general clear.
