Trump Campaign Fights Onward, Files Petition for Brand New Georgia Recount

The Trump campaign issued a statement Saturday which said “Today, the Trump campaign filed a petition for recount in Georgia. We are focused on ensuring that every aspect of Georgia State Law and the U.S. Constitution are followed so that every legal vote is counted. President Trump and his campaign continue to insist on an honest recount in Georgia, which has to include signature matching and other vital safeguards.”

“Without signature matching, this recount would be a sham and again allow for illegal votes to be counted, if there is no signature matching, this would be as phony as the initial vote count and recount. Let’s stop giving the People false results. There must be a time when we stop counting illegal ballots. Hopefully, it is coming soon.”

Georgia Certified their election results on Friday. Governor Kemp said the Trump campaign could pursue other legal options after certifying results. The previous recount was done by hand many votes that had not been previously counted were found during the recount tightening the gap between Biden and President Trump. The current margin stands at a quarter of a % in the peach state.

Who knows what will come of the petition or if they the state will allow for signature matching. The campaign had until Tuesday to request the recount. All of this comes after a federal judge dismissed the lawsuit in Pennsylvania, with prejudice, that was filed this week by Trump campaign’s legal team.

Media Right News previously reported on two separate election officials being fired during the last recount.

“It is now being reported that Floyd County, Georgia has terminated its election director following almost 3,000 votes being discovered. Earlier this week we reported that there were 2,600 ballots found during the audit in the county with most of them going for President Trump.

We reported on this earlier saying, “With a recount underway in the state of Georgia, there has just been a development regarding ballots. 2,600 ballots in Floyd County were just found and state election official Gabriel Sterling called it an “amazing blunder” and said it only seems to be that this occurred in Floyd County.”

The other instance was in Dekalb as we reported:

“It is now being reported that “swing” Dekalb County which covers part of the solidly Democrat city of Atlanta just fired their elections manager for not following procedure. The county issued the following statement:

“It has come to our attention that a DeKalb VRE manager, who is now a former employee, failed to follow our established protocols and blatantly disregarded the required processes we utilize to account for and record all legal and verified ballots.”

Media Right News will keep abreast with the movement in this ever changing story. We will all watch to see what will become of the 2020 presidential election although most outlets have called it for Biden many American’s are still watching to see the outcome.
