Anti-Trump SLC School Board Member Resigns Amid Rape And Child Pornography Investigation

Joel-Lehi Organista, a school board member in the Salt Lake City School District has stepped down after being arrested over child pornography and rape investigation. Court documents show that he’s facing a single charge of object rape to a child and ten counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

The Utah Attorney General’s office released a statement announcing this, “high profile arrest”. Here’s an excerpt from the statement:

Acting on a Cyber Tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, officers uncovered numerous pictures and videos of child pornography on a Dropbox account belonging to Organista. Serving a search warrant, officers also discovered several dozens more such images, including evidence that Organista was communicating directly with children identifying themselves as between the ages of 12-17. Evidence is still being collected from other electronic devices belonging to Organista.

The affidavit of probable cause lays out the sick details of this case. Organista had sexual images and videos of children as young as 5 years old on his Dropbox account attained through a search warrant. Folders on Organista’s DropBox account were labeled with titles like “Young” or “Baby Vids” according to his charges. Also, Organista had Snapchat messages exposed as well in which he would consistently communicate with children ranging from the ages 12-17. The affidavit says this about Organista’s Snapchat:

In the Snapchat communications, Joel is clearly notified of the ages of the children and asks for naked photographs and directs the children to do sexual acts. Specifically, in one chat with a self-identified 12 year old boy, Joel directed him to “Show your body like me and we can cum together.” He then said, “So I can see your face. And how you feel good”.

In the interview, Joel stated that during the video chats with these children, they “jerk off together”. Images of the children were exchanged with Joel and are clearly identifiable as child pornography.

One of the most disgusting details to note in this is that Organista was a school board member. This meant he had lots of access to children, ranging from Kindergarten to High School, in the school system. This child predator is being held without bail at a Salt Lake County Jail. Authorities fear Organista, having family in Mexico, may try and flee.

After Organista’s heinous crimes came to light, Omega Delta Phi Fraternity announced their expulsion of Organista’s membership.

Organista was an avid anti-Trump proponent and very politically inclined. On January 23rd, Organista wrote an article titled “Reflection on the Rise and Fall of the Trump Era” which attacked Trump and Republicans that support him. Organista touted that Trump, “has caused so much damage in the GOP, the country, government, and lives of people across the world. All his supporters must witness how he is held accountable and they should also be held accountable for any violence and crimes they commit.” In December, when Organidsta was elected to the Salt Lake City School Board, a pro-LGBTQ and pro-minority activist group congratulated him.

Angry Twitter users replied to this tweet. One user said, “disgusting who you prop up.. you gave this kind of guy power..”. Another user said, “Y’all would get along great with @ProjectLincoln”, referencing the sexual proclivities exposed in Project Lincoln leaders.
