CNN Operations Manager Joins Project Veritas, Says Network isn’t What it Used to Be, Wants to Be a Part of ‘Ethical Journalism’

Patrick Davis, who worked for CNN for 25 years, decided to leave the left-wing network and join Project Veritas as Executive Producer.

You can see Davis’ interview with James O’Keefe below:

Davis said, “In the first five days of working at this company, I’ve had more conversations about ethical journalism than I did probably in the last ten years of my career…I mean, this is a young team, but they- but they love journalism. They love getting to the bottom of things.” He said that he wants “to get back into more investigative-type journalism”.

Many people, like him, think that CNN has turned into a propaganda outlet for the left rather than an outlet that just reports the news and lets the viewers take their own positions. Those who just want to report the news with no strings attach seem to be a rare commodity at CNN.

Davis said, “You want to know what made me decide to come here? It was the FBI raid. I thought that was the biggest abridgment to the first amendment probably, maybe in the history of this country. Right. For the FBI to go blowing into the doors of a journalist, it was unheard of. They were raiding your home.”

At CPAC on Thursday O’Keefe introduced Davis on the stage who was greeted with loud applause and cheers from the crowd in Orlando. Davis explained, “Journalists used to be adversarial and expose the powers that be, now they work in concert with the powers that be.”
